You folks really have time to do this? I would much rather spend my spare time doing fun things with my family, outdoors activites, or volunteering. To each their own, I guess.

Most of them are a single post, never to be seen again - nor do they read all the responses telling them off. It's far easier for me to ignore them. Bless the ones who include "For sale" or "Ad" in the subject line, because my filters treat them as "read" or delete them (depending on my whim when I did the filter.)
It is far more irritating to me to see all the posts from people who usually have something interesting to say, posting to condemn the spammer. ;-)
I do appreciate links and information from regular posters who have had a good experience (or conversely, a bad one) so that I can benefit from their experience.
