Ot: I'm back - again

Hi guys, You wouldn't believe what I've been through these past few days. I've had to get a "new" used computer. the cpu in mine had something wrong. Then when they finally got my this one, the darned thing couldn't get online. I had to uninstall my antivirus program and now I'm trying to download it again. What frustration! Keep you fingers crossed that this time it will work properly.

Btw, we have two beautiful deer out in our field as I type this.

I have put my name forward for a new position in our OES group as the district deputy. It's for one year, and the election is on the 29th of this month. Keep your toes crossed for me on that one, will you? It's a lot of responsibility, but I would really love to serve in this position.

I see this, so your computer must be working. I know the different programs can't have two of a kind on it or it gives the computer problems.

Thanks Aud. I sure hope that this one will work. The expert said that there was definitely something wrong with the cpu or the mother board? It had gone wonky 3 times and doing the same thing. So hopefully this is the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. LOL

The new position doesn't pay any thing to speak of, and will be a lot of work, but I do hope to get it. The money goes for gas to get around to all the chapters. and they are pretty spread out. The nearest one is only a half hour away but the other range up to close to 2 hours.

Thank you Jan. I went to a meeting tonight and announced my candidacy. I have to do this at as many meetings as I can get to. (It's required) I have three or 4 more meetings before the meeting when the elections take place.
