backberry mush?

Hey group,

I was talking to my neighbor and she said her mother made something wonderful called blackberry mush. They would either put it on ice cream or eat it with milk. Unfortunately her mother passed away without passing on the recipe. Has anyone heard of the this and would you know how to make it?

Thanks

Paul
