Re: Question about substitution for eggs in cakes

Is there a substitution for eggs in a cake recipe? This is for a vegetarian

You could just make wacky cake. They don't have any eggs or milk. If you need the recipe let me know and I'll send it to you.

Wacky Cake is super easy. My kids used to make it as an after school snack when they were about 10 & 12. They always made the 8 inch square pan and cut it on the diagonal so they'd each get exactly half. If you live at an altitude lower than 3000 ft. I'd start checking at about 25 to 30 minutes to see if it's done for the 8 inch pan. I like it just dusted with powdered sugar but my MIL puts a glaze on hers.
