40 acres and a mule (OT

I'm considering calling Kaytee's place "40 Acres and a Mule." I, of course, am the mule.

Aww... you don't have to be the mule. I'll check to see if anybody around there has one they can lend you for yard decor, since you don't want chickens.... Or, maybe I'll just tell my father's friend to hold off selling all the tractors-- we can park one out in the front by the mailbox for decoration (people do that, there....). Don't worry-- "the front" is at least a quarter mile from the house.... I'm checking into internet connections-- AOL has one local dial-up # for sure (in Carrisa Plains), but I don't know if the ones in Paso Robles and/or SLO are considered local or toll calls. Actually, Becki, you can't be the mule. All mules are male; they're hybrids. But a donkey? Well, I know I can make an ass of myself. Actually donkeys are much more sensible and require very little care.

Actually since it was 40 acres and I am so stubborn I thought it fitting. With the addition of chin hairs since I have gotten older, I'm not sure I don' t look like a boy....LOL

I have real mixed feelings about it. I am not one to move easily. I left my hometown to go to college in Columbus, which is 45 minutes away, and have never left here, LOL. I am excited but also pretty much scared to death. Becki "In between the moon and you, the angels have a better view of the crumbling difference between wrong and right." -- Counting Crows

Hi to all my grammatically correct and/or slightly anal friends. The name is still 40 acres and a mule. It fits. LOL

Is that the Clint Eastwood movie that comes after 40 Mules For Sister Sarah?
