AD, feedback requested

Thank you everyone for the great feedback you gave me a couple of weeks ago on my website. I've been working hard on getting better pictures, added an "ordering info" page and added a couple of necklaces. So, again, I'm asking for your feedback...is this enough of an improvement, do I need to do more? Any advice is appreciated, and thanks if you can take the time to look again.

Yes it's better!

The centered text still bugs me though. You could try alternating ALIGN="RIGHT" and ALIGN="LEFT" with your paragraphs and still get the same effect only it would be easier to read. The different colored text is kind of hard to read too...

You also want to put some good stuff in the tags - good marketing stuff - Like "Class With Sass - Elegant, eclectic, casual and sassy accessories " or something.

And one last thing that bugs me... some pages are centered and some move to the left when I click on the link to them.... they should all act the same.

Otherwise, I think it's looking good! The store is certainly easy to use and the pictures are good!

Much better! If I were you, I would make the pictures clickable to larger versions that are more detailed. The pics on the site are still too small to see detail, and some of them are blurry. You want your customers to be able to see lots of detail. The necklace pictures are all pretty decent, but I want to be able to see the embroidery/beads closer and with more detail. A vast improvement, though! Great job!

Maybe it's just me, but the red, green, blue, and purple type looks sophmoric. I think it would look better if it were all the same color -- or maybe the links a different color from the rest.

And your prices are too low, good heavens -- a beadwoven bracelet for $30???? ~~ Sooz

Thanks, it looks like I'll be working on it again and again! I've gotten some great feedback from the group. Carlinda

Thanks!

I've made those changes...and I agree with you.

My computer web site skills are minimal, and my marketing skills are near zero, i.e., I have no idea what you mean or how to make that change! LOL But thanks for the suggestion. If I can figure it out, I'll work on it.

There again, I really don't know how to fix that. Someone else designed it with Dreamweaver, and I'm just maintaining it with Contribute. So I'm still learning.

Thank you so much.

Thank you very much. I've been working hard on improving my pictures. And I agree about the closeups. I think I'll probably just take another picture of the detail, and put it beside the complete necklace. Give me a few days to work on that. Great suggestion, and I totally agree.

Thanks, and I agree about the type. I've changed it, so hope that helps.

Okay, now about the prices. I understand what you're saying. What should I do about the pieces that are on the site and priced too low? Should I pull them off, wait a few months, put them back up? Could I really raise the price on them now after they've been published for awhile? I'm totally open to suggestions!

Thanks again, everyone, for your great feedback. It certainly helps. I don't know how much I'll be able to work on my site before Friday (my hand surgery), and then after that I will be re-reading all my bead books and magazines until I'm able to get back into making some more pieces. I have all kinds of designs in mind, but just can't do much about it right now. Hopefully, my hand will be better than ever, and raring to go in a week or so!

Carlinda, I will happily pipe in on this one.

There is no reason you can't raise the prices right now. If someone saw it when the price was lower, they missed their chance to buy it at that price when they could.

That's what I was thinking too. If you feel weird about doing that, then pull the stuff and put it up again later. Yeah -- they missed their opportunity. (I bet they sell easier once the price is higher) ~~ Sooz

I like the layout and useability. Your pictures could stand to be better; I suggest 5100K "daylight" color compact fluorescent bulbs, because that's what I found to be most helpful myself.

Other than that, may I throw out a suggestion for "Wanda's World"? I love handmade bags, but the popular styles right now have straight sides and a single, long strap that can go over your shoulder and across the body. Her work is beatiful, and I'd love to see it in a style I would use.
