An Emotional Thank You

First a little background from the last couple of days. For some reason I felt bad yesterday and today was even worse. I can't get a real handle on the pain lately and the doctors visit was a total waste of time. We didn't get to see the doctor (who we made the appointment with) and I was given no solutions for the pain nor any pain meds. I was so sick today from pain any movement made me queasy.

Yesterday I went to pick up a package from the PO from Linda. It had gotten lost at the PO or my idiot mail lady. Either way I wanted to reassure Linda it got here safely and it did. I left it in the truck overnight once again because I just felt lousy. I got an email from her earlier today asking if I had opened the package. Well no but I guess I could drag my butt outside and bring it in.

Once I opened the package I was literally in tears. You guys don't know how bad I'm feeling and I'm feeling bad for others here as well. I was so emotional opening my packages I was struck speechless and actually sat on the floor from shock. Kathy NV & Manda sent me a gorgeous pearl, silver, and seed bead bracelet that is amazing! Linda sent me a beautiful lampwork and silver bracelet that is amazing! I was Klunking all over myself with emotion. Actually I think we went past Klunk and went onto gibber.

Thank you all so, so much. There are just no words for how I feel. DH immediately knew as soon as he saw me this afternoon I was not good but he saw me smiling from ear to ear as well. I had tears in my eyes and told him the whole story. He thanks you all as well.

I had to show off both bracelets with pride at the doctor's office and then at Razzoos where I had rat toes (stuffed jalapenos). The PA wants one of each for his wife so I gotta get back to you guys.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys so much.

I hear you. I'm so sorry.

It wasn't really us! Well, it sort of was, but that was Linda's amazing creation. Remember we were all drooling over it, and I made up some lie that I bought it for Sophie? (I didn't) We wanted you to have a wonderful birthday, and that it arrived on a day where it was even more necessary makes it even better.

Here's the auction page so you guys can all drool, too:

We love him because he loves you.

Oh Linda -- double what I paid for that bracelet, at least. It is well worth it. Sounds like you have some well paying customers all lined up!

Didnt anyone else think it was odd that Kathy was buying it for Sophie? Its just so not Sophie's style. Diana :-)

Agreed. In my opinion it's priceless. It's a work of art! Those photos do nothing for the real bracelet. I'm still in total awe!

I thought it was odd you bought it for Sophie but I buy weird things for Trink. It's absolutely stunning Kathy. Linda - you rock woman! The artistry in this bracelet is beyond klunk worthy. I've been either wearing it or holding it since I opened the package. I fell asleep for a bit and DH said I was holding on tightly.

I allowed Trinkett to sniff both bracelets and that's it. She keeps eyeing the pink and green bracelet but it won't fit her so she's outta luck. All mine!

I was so shocked and crying I didn't know what to do for a good 10 minutes. I feel so loved....squishy talk and all.

The PA gave me some new meds. They aren't pain meds but they might help with the nerve problems. Today I would have given anything a try including going under again. They knew I felt bad because I was laying on the table and they know how I hate those things. On top of it all I never once interrupted the PA and DH talking a good 20 minutes about hunting before they even got to me.

You are loved, Starlia... even tho it pains me to talk "squishy" talk sometimes! LOL... And I hope your new meds work for you. Me, I'm coming off a 5 day sinus migraine that Vicodan and my usual meds didn't even touch. I _hate_ getting alla these damn headaches. Better health prayers incoming for you, dear. love, Linda

And not one soul [openly] questioned it. I thought I'd get nailed for sure, especially since even if it fit Sophie, you'd never see it under all the fur.

But it worked, and for that, I'm more than grateful.

And Linda has a customer lined up - whoo-hoo!

Another 1/4" would have fit her perfectly. She isn't getting near it. LOL
