BTW, now that I've admitted I have chimp feet, Bob keeps telling me to make sure I don't bite Starlia in the ankle or I'm going to have to have my head freeze dried and examined for rabies. :-)

I was so ready to be outside. It was so beautiful today and it was in the high 80's here. Instead of clearing land DH decided to take me out for a beautiful drive in the hill country and a surprise dinne>

Oh, I know it's not Ringo's fault - he's a wild animal who doesn't belong in a human world. His people, however much they love him, didn't do him any favors by taking him from his real environment. He cannot help being aggressive, because that's what adolescent primates do.
My point of view is colored by worry for Starlia, and we would be a lot happier if she didn't have to go through all the pain and shots. And sadly, I was thinking about poor Ringo. His life isn't going to get happier by living with people - he never should have left Madagascar in the first place. It's so terribly sad all around.
Starlia, I'm not talking about you in the third person on purpose - we talk about you here at home, and are very worried about you. BTW, my sister stands firmly with you - she would take the shots and protect the lemur, on the sole condition that your friends find a vet and get Ringo the care he needs to stay physically healthy, at least.
Amazingly, my best friend is at home right now recovering from a human bite on her leg. She teaches severely disturbed and handicapped children, and this the umpteenth time it's happened. Happily, she doesn't need rabies shots, but we facetiously contemplated having the biter quarantined. (or worse - but that was during a giggle fit)

I agree - it's Ringo's owners' fault. Ringo is an innocent, just like Starlia. :)
Absolutely. It's the owners I take issue with. ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce
This is what I thought Starlia meant when she first posted about her "primate bite". Kaytee "Simplexities" on
