Where do you find _those?_ I'm not even 100% sure what you're talking about, and this could be a whole new area of spending for me!

Fess up, please.

My LBS, darlin! I'll SEND YOU A COUPLE just to see what I'm saying. Then you can decide on your own if you want more...........

I love lab-created gems! Anything that doesn't need to be mined and isn't really toxic to make. Same reason I love glass! So much beauty, so little destruction.

Yes - I really want a "mystic" topaz right now. Hmm maybe I can pick one up in September :)

And some of the lab created stones an be used and fired with PMC instead of bezel set.

You too? I think they are so neat! The bad thing is most of the ones I've seen are huge. I don't want huge.

Sooz, Are you talking about "miracle beads"?? Shipwreck Beads has quite a few. They are multilayered and do seem to glow from inside.

Kalera, Thank you very much. Coming from you that means a lot. Your stuff is so georgous I have had to stop looking for awhile til our budget recovers from summer travel.

No. Lab-made semi-precious beads. (I don't really like miracle beads.) ~~ Sooz

Most I've seen have been in jewelry catalogues and in jewelry sizes.

Rio has lab grown emerald clusters. Wouldn't those be cool in PMC! Though I suspect the natural cleaving planes they have would make them unsuitable for firing.

Thank you ladies. Actually, I did the spirals. She did the design and picked the colors, but I did the actual spirals. Believe it or not I have taught spiral rope in Bali, in a chat group(people from USA,England, Hong Kong) and at our LBS. Thanx again. Armand
