Those have got to be the tiniest #12's I've ever seen! I can't wait to use them -- which I will do in short order. :o)
Thanks!

Are you sure the 12s you'd seen before were beading needles, and not some other kind of 12? ~~ Sooz

No, they are quilting needles, "betweens," which are very short, but almost the same diameter as a "sharp," or sewing needle. The needles Beki sent me are as thin as a #12 beading needle, but only as long as a sharp. (Properly used, a between will let you make a quilting stitch that is nearly as fine as machine sewing. This is something that I have not mastered.)

I love using 12 betweens. That's how i get my hand quilting stitches so tiny and even. When I get tired, i use 10's.
Yay! I am glad they arrived for you.
Now you can bead with some ease! =o)
