I am going to a black tie reception for the opening of my sister's new store in NYC Saturday, and since it is "black tie funk", I decided to make some jewelry out of Harry's paua to wear.
I just scanned, didn't adjust...leaving from Boston in 8 minutes. I hope to have time to rework it...I didn't wrap, just jumpringed, and I want to wrap the pieces onto the bracelet.
They are swarovski crystals in Black Diamond and Clear, FWP in Black, Cultured Pearls in black and gray (from one of my mom's old necklaces) and Paua.
I'm sure it will be a conversation piece...I don't usually make pieces like this. I love the sound of it...it has a nice, quiet tinkle.
The earrings are the best I could do at matching..none of the pearls nor none of the paua were matched pearls...it's ok...it's more funk!!
