VJ -- yes, Kaytee already sent me the lyrics. I actually wear overalls while painting, and had them on yesterday when I was taking Vince (my houseguest) to the bus station to go to LA to see his mother. Well, he missed the bus so I drove him to LA, making it my first public appearance in my overalls. Not only did I eat out in a restaurant in them, but met his mother like that. LOLOLOL -- I felt like an idiot (but I looked rather cute in them).

Ok, this is maudlin and stupid and weepy and stuff, but I loved having you there to "help" me get dressed. Kaytee told me to wear the bracelet I had just showed her, and that the necklace I picked out went OK with what I was wearing. I can't remember anyone ever helping me pick out something to wear for a date before. It was sweet. I love California.

Since there isn't a crop in nor planned, it'll get done when the weeds get too tall/dry for fire safety. My father had just prepped one of the fields about a week before he died in September-- he had stuff growing almost all year, but usually started things to take advantage of the rains (tried to time it that way, at least...).
