Am I still a bead store virgin if i went in, looked, didn't see anything I liked and walked out again?
Went to Bead Boppers in Puyallup today and was very disappointed. They didn't have anything I wanted. Good news is, it didn't overwhelm me...so....i'm ready for the next step. And yes, i do have a shopping list...lol.
Was your purse penetrated in any way? If not, then acording to catholic bead standards you are virgin still.
Even if you aren't, you may be able to get a..... Paypal Dispensation. Sarajane

Nope - doesn't count!! :) I heartily recommend Beads & Beyond in Bellevue. It's a huge bead store with lots of good stuff and decent prices. Lots and lots of sterling, Czech, handmade lampwork and Swarovski. Books galore. Scads of seed beads. It's bead heaven. But they close at 3pm on weekends, so watch for that. I don't recommend any of the World Beads locations (there are two in WA that I know of). Very small stores, and their prices are bar-none the most expensive I have ever seen. 45 cents for a 4mm Swarovski bicone with no ab coatings in the basic colors. 95 cents for a Bali 5mm daisy spacer. No artist lampwork at all. Plus their salespeople at both locations were snotty. Sad. :) I also like the Bead Man in Issaquah - basically because they are close and the owner is nice.

I haven't been to their Shipwreck's new location yet, but I can tell you that you'll need two, possibly three, drool towels and a tractor trailer to bring home your beads. I remember the first time I saw their seed bead wall. My eyes hurt for an hour just from that first glance! SOOOOOO many colors!!!!! Now I hear the new place is even more of a knock out. Thank goodness I live so far away!

quarterly is my goal...lol
you know, we might just have to get together with EVERYONE in the area for a field trip....i could even use it for a homeschool unit...write it off as an educational expense perhaps...LOL
