Sooz makes another convert!

Sooz offered to send me a spool of Silamide. It arrived today and I have used a bit of it already in a piece I'm beadpointing. Let me tell you, ladies, not only is Sooz very generous, she has made a convert! This stuff is dynamite! No tangling, easy to thread, not harsh on the hands. I like the stuff!

So, thank you very much, Miss Sooz. You have made my beading experience that much easier and more enjoyable. Your gift is most appreciated! Now, what types of stores will I find this stuff in?

So sweet of Sooz! Yep, Silamide rocks. It's the only thread I use for weaving anymore. :)

]Kandice, I'm doing a beadweaving piece right now, and I'm using Fireline. So ]far, even though it twists a lot, I'm really really liking it. Plus crystals ]won't cut it!

my work here is done . . . . bwaaaaaaahahahahahahaha.

You don't have to be a mom! There are uncles, sisters, fathers and others who don't have children who post on the group regularly, Sooz. There's even one child-free who we don't see enough of since he had some major health issues. It's similar to this group only it doesn't focus on beads. FWIW there are a couple of beaders and jewelry designers who post there. Aula and I are just two.:=)

alt.mothers.....

Margie sure described the group well! Heck, we even have a high school senior who wants to be a doctor hanging out with us, and contributing appropriately to the group! So, anyway, you don't have to be a mom, just know one, ok?

Excuse me, have you forgotten Mercury? Hmmmmm?

I know he's a free spirit and all that, but he still needs his mom.

Whatever one feels like talking about. Nothing is OT there! Right now there's a thread started by a father concerning sex and making love. You will find the subject of children coming up a lot, go figure but that isn't what the group is about. The group description is as follows: alt.mothers, "most people have at least one". LOL

I'm sold. I went to General Bead in San Francisco today and bought a spool. I wanted to buy Fireline too, to see which I liked better, but they didn't have any.
