Harry - i gotta tell you. hanging those gorgeous shells on a black cord just does NOT do it for me - they deserve much better accompaniment!

Hey - the hair ties are really cool! What a great idea. Thanks for the link, Harry. :)

Same here, but I did make one and sold it. These are the ones tourist buy in NZ mostly and TradeMe is full of simular items, but the nice ones are on SS wire and chains. :) I do love the natural look of the items though. I want to make some Paua rim beads very badly, but that is on the back burner untill I get some money to place an order. The shipping is what's killing me.

< You are very welcome. I figured it would get peoples creative side flowing as to what to do with all those shells. lol I am going to start something tomorrow and I have no idea what, but the Paua will tell me tonight while I sleep... if not... I might turn a few of them into Paua happy dust! lol

I agree Vicki..

I have only spent an hour and a half looking on the web for a company in NZ called Aquarius who do magnifico stuff with Paua only to find out they are a wholesale co. and don't have any significant web presence! Can you believe that? I have some of their paua jewellery and it is beautiful..
