Two projects I've had going for a while!

First, the Flame necklace from an old B&B:

I used two shade of brown. One is a matte and the other is sort of irridized, but it's hard to tell in the photo and almost looks like I used one brown.

Here's a close up:

And here's a butterfly from the Valerie Hixson book:

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it! Maybe a necklace? I've been eyeing her dog book. I'm basically a pound hound person myself, but I'd love to do a Chihuahua for my DD. I wish there was a picture of it on the book though so I could see what color it was. I e-mailed her and asked, but never got a response. Oh, well!

Beautiful work!

The necklace is great, I imagine it looks lovely on. The butterfly is wonderful, would look great attached to an evening bag. Hugs Shirley

Thanks, Shirley! I think the necklace looks great with my black mock-T! Of course, I finished it just in time for spring. Oh, well! Fall's not too far away!

It is lovely and looks as if it hangs nicely. What edition of B and B? I have the past 5 years copies. I think I would like to give it a go.

Cheers, Jan

Love 'em both!

Cheers, Carla
