Ok, everyone knows I love Fran Lizardi's beads. I admit it, I'm a ho for them.
Today I received the newsletter she sends out and on it was a link for her new project:

They're painted glass beads. The colors are so vibrant, I love the idea! Oooh, Fran, I might copy you! Well, copy the idea. I'll have to get Mike to make me some clear glass beads to play with. The knotwork is so neat too, I love macrame and want to do more of it myself. It can be so much fun watching the knots grow into something really elegant or wild or just fun. What a cool idea. I wonder if they would work if I put some resist on spots like with etching glass... hmm....
Oh yes, the last necklace in the gallery, the blue one, I just LOVE those spirally beads.
