Hahaha. Nope.. Got a metal cup out of the freezer instead. ha! Diana heehee...ewwwww
I once did that whole tongue stuck to frozen thing . I opened our full sized freezer and laid my tongue on the metal shelf. Luckily for me, I could just barely reach the cup of water on the table.
Diana mumbled:

I did the same thing. Mom had to rescue me - without the water. Seems to me my tongue lost a few tastebuds in that little experiment.
The kids used to try to convince other kids to lick the flagpole when my son was in grammar school in Whitehorse, YT.
The water we put out for the birds has been freezing every night for the last week, here.
