Gloating over my upcoming visitor!

Well I did apply for several jobs out there when I found out I was being laid off. And have wanted to visit that area for a while.

I'm even tidying up my studio for The Big Visit! My new glass friend (that I haven't yet met!) is coming over Wednesday, so Kathy and I will meet her together. I hope Kath doesn't mind Maori War Chants while we torch. It's very inspirational!

War chants sound like good bead making music to me!

They resonate in the chest (if the volume is turned up enough). I'm sure they stimulate adrenal glands or something. Marvelous stuff! I'm a bit partial to the Volgo Boatmen for the same reason. Not the 'Song of the Volga Boatman'... I mean actual Boatmen singing. They can sing harmonics, which sung as a group is other-wordly. I've never heard anything quite like it.

That's how I felt the first time I heard Gregorian Monks chanting some years ago. Rather than resonating in my chest, they resonated in my soul. I felt transported to another realm, very other-worldly!

Tuvan throat singing is another thing I listen to while torching... There are some great examples online that you can download!

there in bed and soak it up.<

Your own "private audience!" That is SOOOOO cool - especially since it doesn't cost a dime!

]We are, man! We've had neighbors who practiced other stuff.......Remember the ]place we lived before, Vicki?

do i! i couldn't let Jamie play her electronic organ when we lived in an apartment house. with the sound all the way down, it would still vibrate the walls.

people who play instruments generally should live in houses.
