glue

Hi there!

I'm new to this list and I need opinions. Can anybody tell me what glue works best when working with stretch magic? I like to make stretch bracelets. I've used super glue which breaks, and another type of glue which costs $2.00 for enough for about five bracelets. What works for you and where can I buy it in the Detroit area or mail order it?

Thanks!!

I use a surgeon's knot (a square knot with another twist on the top thread) and a dab of the cheapest clear nail polish I can find. Superglue corrodes the Stretch Magic material.

I raided my husband's fly-tying stuff and use his fly-glue. It really holds, is thin enough to get between the knot and the bead that I use to hide the knot and when dry, it holds really well. He actually gave me an applicator for Christmas one year. It has a long skinny tip that lets you put the glue exactly where you need it.
