No, I don't expect to get up to Trinity. My mother's place there is very remote. She just got back a couple days ago. And got a bath.

I don't like her being up there alone like that. It's about half hour of the paved road on logging roads and then another half hour on private roads. No buildings in site along the way. No visitors. No phones or even cell phones, or two way radio. Even satellite phones don't work. There's a spring that has a pipe, but not what people I know call running water. I know it's been months since she's had a bath or shower. And "no electricity" sounds bad enough, but there's also no place to get ice for food preservation. That's bad enough for an 83 year old woman, but she also is paralyzed shoulder to hand on one side. People admire her for being tough, but sometimes it's a selfish way to be!

Anyway, I won't be going to Trinity this winter, though I have hopes to go there with Pete this summer.

It would be cool though to meet you again, and Vicki too.
