Honest opinions, please

I've been playing and experimenting a lot in the last two weeks, simply because I'm bored out of my mind, have insomnia, and have the need to keep my fingers working on something. Would you be so kind as to look at the bracelet I made tonight, and tell me what you think, please? It's supposed to be cute and slightly funky, but mostly charming...and I'm not certain I achieved that. Or, it could be my insecurities talking. However, I know that I can come to you all for an objective point of view.

Thanks for looking and helping me learn.

I like the bracelet, as well as everything on your site! I agree with Kandice though, I'd like to see some closeups.

I'm trying to figure out how to get close ups. If I get any closer with my digital camera, it gets blurry, even on macro. Any suggestions?

The straight pieces....if I curved/bent them slightly, do you think that would solve the problem you see of them possibly sticking out?

seems that did the trick. Nothing sticks out...yippeee! Thanks!

I have a close up now. Not the best in the world, but i'm working on it. Dh is getting me Paint Shop Pro for Mother's Day, so I'll be able to do a lot more tweaking, and I'll get some much better shots! Thanks for all your help, again.

It's OK by me! The little "s" curve treatment with the curlys on the ends is a style I've been using successfully for about 12 years. Only I keep mine very regular, hammer them rather flat and then polish the dickens out of them. They come out about 2" long and I like foiled lampwork for the beads. I link a bunch of them together and make necklaces. Your bracelet would go great with a pink one.

i actually curve them irregularly on purpose...i think it gives them some character. In a way, they're like me...a little bent..heehee.

I figured you did. I was just pointing out the differences in our treatments of what is basically the same thing. Barbara Dream Master

Barbara...Thanks so much! You're helping me grow by pointing out the differences. I'm sorry if it sounded like I was being defensive. My thoughts were not coming out as I wanted them to yesterday.

I was looking through your site and came across this

Do you know where/if i couldfind a heart musical note in a charm? I think this pin is to die for! Is it somethingyou keep in stock regularly, or is it a one of a kind? I would love to buy it, but don't have the $ for it right now, and if youkeep it in stock, I've asked DH if I can get it sometime this summer.

Ok, now I'm rambling. Back to surfing....

I go to eBay for silver charms -- check them out. There are numerous charm dealers on eBay.....

I've been looking there the last couple of days, and coming up empty handed. I know, I know, i'm just difficult!

I don't know where you would find a charm, but I'm sure there are tons of places selling them. The pin is a production piece. I always have 2 or 3 in stock. I am having my brother break apart the jewelry section of my site. The initial button will lead to the one-of-a-kind items. Then there will be more buttons for reproducible work leading to pins, earrings, etc. When the time comes and you're ready to order the pin, let me know if you're still looking for a charm and what size it needs to be. Whipping one up would be a piece of cake. I could probably make one up for about $15.00 if you order it at the same time as the pin...... Thanks. Barbara Dream Master
