Opinions Please

Hello, I began scrapping just this year, I need the opinions from you more experienced scrappers, please. No matter what I do I can't seem to cut an exact measurement for mats etc., so I want to purchase a 12 in. paper cutter. There doesn't seem to be alot of different brand names but there are several "styles". Keeping in mind cost is definitely a factor, what paper cutter is your favorite? Please help me by being specific in your description of the "style" and why you like it best, so I'll know exactly what to look for at the store. Thank-you very much in advance. Ladymo NC

I have the fiskars 12" razor cutter. I really like it. I use it for so many things other than just scrapbooking too. I have to buy a lot of replacement blades for it but they are not that expensive. $1 each or so. Hope this helps. Soni in NV

Wish I could help - I can't cut a straight or dead-on measured line to save my life. Instead, I am accepting this flaw in myself and moving on...LOL

I have the cutterpede which works pretty well and has a built in ruler for help. It's rotary, so it's different from what I was used to, but it's ok. Many people have given it glowing reviews. Good luck!

Hi Ladymo and welcome if I haven't already said that! LOL We are getting so many new members that it is hard to keep up. I have the Fiskars 12" cutter and do like it. There are more out there and you will get a good run down from all these neat people. I also have the Creative Memories cutting system and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Sabrina :-)
