My First Tink bead

Feb 28, 2004 10 Replies

I got it today. I'm so excited. I am putting into a frame now for my wall so I can stare at it. Even my husband was impressed and he knows nothing. LOL

Thank you so much. It's even more beautiful than online. Pics do not do it justice.

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I'm excited that YOU'RE excited! LOL! So you're pleased?

T>I got it today. I'm so excited. I am putting into a frame now for my wall

Oh man even my husband (who is bead stupid) loved it. But I didn't tell him how much it cost. lol I try to keep the prices away from him. He would have a heart attack himself. lol

Boy is it beautiful!!!!

Isn't that glass fabulous??? A very, very, VERY well-known glass artist sent me that glass as a gift. It's glass with dichro that was fused together. I have a little baggie of it. LOL! Been hoarding it. I just did a three bead set with it, and find it a real challenge to just let the colors show up where they want to. On yours, Debbie, it drove me nuts that ONE end was green. LOL!

I'm so glad you are enjoying it. Now THAT is what it's all about, you know?

T>Amorphous Spring

Yes. I finally understand.

I was explaining the little bit that I can to my husband and told him I would love to get into that. He said well go ahead. I started laughing and then told him what's involved & how much. He stopped laughing and choked. He said it would okay to buy them from you guys instead. LOL

I have it sitting in a little frame with the lite shining on it at nite - daylite during daytime. And it is making me happy. I swear it's singing.

That's so touching, Debbie... And very sweet! You're inspiring me and making me feel SO GOOD! Thank you!

But you know what's really strange? I've had about a dozen people say that their beads from me sing... And when I blow hollow vessels, the mandrels do sing a wonderful, mournful yet comforting song...

A Grateful T>Yes. I finally understand.

I don't think I saw the pic of that one... but it sounds awesome!

Tink, I was thinking about your devit-purple beads last night and was wondering if you've done any with pea green? What a killer combo that would be! I might do something with it, but my style and your style are way different, and I can see it on, say, one of your hollows.
