All that took me about a week, on and off:) And hey--there's plenty of time to do stuff when you don't sleep!

Candace doesn't sleep. She's still young and super woman.

That is the nicest lie anyone has ever said about me, Starlia. Me...............Super woman. Adam says "Candace doesn't sleep, she's a zombie and slightly insane." Since that is true, I can't beat him for it.

Heh. I gave up sleep when I discovered life online. I thought "Well, I still wanna watch lots of tv; and read lots of books; and spend hours gabbing with my friends. Hmmmm...what can I give up?"
Cheers, Carla

I gave it up at first for reading, then reading and being a Mom, then reading, being a Mom, and Adam, then reading, being a Mom, Adam, and being on the internet, then all of that plus beading. Okay, so most days, I go to bed around 7 or 8pm, and get up at midnight. That's my sleep:)

But then you miss primetime viewing!
I'm usually up until about 3:00 a.m., then get up aroun 7:00-7:30 for work.

I don't watch T.V. Ever. No, I'm not kidding, I really don't watch T.V. I am, however, an avid movie fan:)

You sound like me. I love movies and would watch them all day. TV comes and goes for me. I do like a few shows but I TVo them and watch them without interruptions.

I think I've watched perhaps 45 minutes of television since January first of this year. For three months prior to that, I watched it ALL the time--but only two channels, the Food Network and whatever network Trading Spaces is on(we had free cable). Of course, Darian watched the Cartoon Network. Before that, I didn't watch T.V. at all for a good 6 months. Before that, I maybe watched an hour tops every two weeks, for about 4 years. Now, the only time our television is on for the television itself is Saturday mornings, for the kids to watch cartoons. I bead/read during that time, in another part of the house:)
The last good non cable show I saw was a summer Fox series called Roar. If anyone can recall when that came on, you'll know about the time I pretty much gave up t.v.

That's okay, Candace, I still think you're pretty neat :)
What kind of movies? This weekend, I saw "Torque", "Vampires: Los Muertos", "Secret Window", and "Man on Fire". It's 12:30 and I'm about to start "Intolerable Cruelty".
Yes, I *should* go to bed, but I don't wanna :)
Cheers, Carla

Sleep is the logical choice.
I hear we need less of it, the older we get. So if I stay awake long enough, I won't need to sleep at all! Right?
Wait...

I don't watch TV either, but I would if I didn't have any kids.
It's not that I don't watch TV for the sake of the kids, it's that I don't have time to watch TV and take care of the kids and do other stuff I want to do, so the TV got eliminated. I haven't read a novel in over a year, either, and I *really* miss reading! But they won't be little (and needy) for long.
