these guys had only one eye! "How could that have happened?" I asked myself when I regained my composure. Well duh! Could it have been, like, the CHAINSAWS?????>>

LOL!
Haw haw haw!! You sure? Law students during finals always seemed worse than these beads to ME........
yeah - I'm sure -- I FELT worse that those beads look after last semester's finals.
I have six classes this semester. My Monday starts with a 10 am class - then an 11 - then a three hour "break at work" - (ha!) a class from 4 PM to 550 pm and a class from 6 to 9 pm. agggggh
Thursday is the only other "rough" day - as I plan to work 8 hours - and have civil trial practice lab from 6 to 850 PM.... fun huh?

Yikes!
I hope you have a very sturdy immune system, if you're going to stay in overdrive like that for months...
May you have real -rest- somewhere in that ugly schedule. Good luck getting through it and out the other side.

yeah I do pretty well - until around finals, then I crash and burn. I've decided to do a multivitamin, and flaxseed (1000 size capsules twice a day) and see how things go. I am also making a CONCERTED EFFORT to ensure I get a minimum of six hours of sleep a night (don't laugh -- I mean that)...
Oh - and I volunteered to help start a new society "arts and the law" at school and participate in the long-term growth of bringing about a local chapter of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts in this area.

Very cool. But it sounds like another straw on a fairly staggering camel. Will you have help setting it up and doing day-to-day tasks related to it?

I commend you. Very hard to come to that decision, no doubt, but I suspect it will prove a good one for -your son-, too.
But maybe not instantly.

Sometimes it takes a bit of fending for yourself to recognize what has gone into the process of someone else providing security for you...
Sounds like the trend is in the direction of recognizing that sustaining your life actually -takes- something from you.
Good outcome so far, I'd say. Here's some "stick to your plan" energy for you....
