I didn't;t see that episode- and I think I'm glad!!
Right now most of my boxes are in front of the coffee table so I can reach them from the couch. Of course the number of boxes keeps increasing - I just don't understand how :)
I know how many beads I have - NOT ENOUGH!!!!
Kathy -- I had a lot of open dishes of beads on this little bitty table, all laid out for a beadweaving project (I use dozens of different beads in most projects --- lots of embellishment, lots of seeds, lots of everything!).
Kevin -- poor thing -- backed his wheelchair into the table. He's always SO careful!! But man, talk about devastation. The beads went EVERYWHERE. They're all mixed now, and many are up the vacuum's butt.
But I use 'em all mixed up in the project, so....big deal! But he was just crushed. He felt so bad. I just hugged him. (A lot.) ~~ Sooz

awww. But I bet you had really pretty floors for a bit there! Since I have the kitties I have to keep all the boxes closed. And of course I've managed to knock over the stacks myself - and was SOOOO glad they weren't open!
Haw haw! No, teensiest orange seed beads in the beige carpeting. Orange was NOT my choice.....though someone *here* loves that hue. ~~ Sooz

I would be the orange geek. LOL!
Haw haw! Actually, I was thinking of someone else, but you definitely do love orange, dearie, you're right. :-) ~~ Sooz

I'm still "entering data", too. 3252 items entered in "jewelry parts", 1 in the part to assemble jewelry.... My last "revision of basic program" was to remove "lampwork" and "Pressed glass" from the catagory "glass beads", and give them their own catagories. I also put the basic color of the beads in the "part name" for pressed glass and seed beads-- this allows you to see what colors you have from the "quick list". The only pics I've put in are of finished jewelry-- I've entered the jewelry I made previous to getting the program as "jewelry parts", giving each "year" a separate catagory. The only way to get jewelry in the program's "finished jewelry" section, is to enter all the parts, then "use" the parts to "assemble" the piece. I may eventually go back and scan some of the lampwork, though. Kaytee "Simplexities" on

good idea - thanks. but i'm beginning to think i'm going to create a "part" called "seed beads" and just set a "price/foot" and let it go at that!

My seed beads are a "part", in the "glass beads" catagory. Now further sorted by basic color (eg: all shades of red are just "red" in the "part" name; the specific shade is in the "description"). Beads once part of the "seed beads" are now separate from them, still under "glass beads", like "niblets", "magatamas", etc. (I went back and deleted "seed" from the name). Kaytee "Simplexities" on
Oh no!!! Poor Kevin! I can imagine his incredulity when you vacuumed up the beads. Ken oogles every time I throw a seed bead away. It happens!
My name is Grace and I too have to be a beadaholic. I hope when I die that they fill my casket up with beads in order for me to sort them to my hearts content! ] Expressions of Grace.com Grace graceex
