My Treasure Hunt Today

You know, you are so right--I didn't even think to include all the "wiped someone's butt", "changed pee soaked pants", "fetched a gazillion cups of water, juice, and milk"--that stuff happens on autopilot, so I don't usually think about it in a WIDT kinda way.

Sorry I squicked ya with the thumb post, Kalera :)

*kissing Kalera's imagined boo-boo alllll bettah* lol It's just annoying now--I hate wearing bandaids, cause as a Mom, my hands are constantly getting into messy stuff--be it water, spilled milk, wet baby clothes, etc, so I'm forever wasting the band-aids. Soooo I don't wear them any longer than need be, and now this flap of skin is snagging on everything. Irritating.

Have you tried that nu-skin liquid band-aid stuff? I've found that it works very well when I have to get my hands wet.

Yes. It stings when you put it on, but does seal the wound well. Can't be used if actually bleeding-- won't hold the blood in, or anything, but keeps a "dry" wound clean.

I used it on a finger joint (#1 son smashed it in a door...5 stitches...), and #2 son used it on a larger hand wound (caught a sword blade, swung by #1 son...). Kaytee "Simplexities" on

I know exactly what you mean, and it IS annoying. I usually snip it off with scissors at that point.
