need a little help from my friends.

I am making another bracelet like the one on my website from B&B.

This time I am making it in gold and topaz to wear at my GD's wedding However I am having problems finding a clasp, I need a gold filled one . Or gold plated.

It is a slide in type and I would prefer the bars on it instead of the holes. However I would use one with four holes if I cannot get a bar one. FMG have one but no size on it. I have sent them an email. I need it to be 22 to 25 mm approx. 1 inch. Can anyone point me in the right direction to getting one. Either a website or doing a swap with someone.

Shirley,

Have you tried Rio? I bet they have it in 14k or 24k gold, not just gold filled.

I'd look other places for you but I have no idea what to look for. How about a link to the one you saw in FMG so we'd know what it looks like.

I will try Rio.

I will scan the one I have got in silver and put them up on my website later today. Then you can see what they look like. Shirley

I have just looked at the pattern and it says that the clasp was from Rio Grande It is a tube style clasp with 21 mm side bars.

I tried to get into their catalogue but could not unless I set up an account with them. It seems a lot of bother for one clasp.

I put the pictures up on my website of the type I need. Mine are silver and the side bars are only 15mm. The one with the holes is the right size but that is chrome plated. I do not want to use a silver clasp on a mainly gold bracelet.
