I've been swamped with nonbead life (You mean there's more to life than beads?) and whining about not having any torch time, but I do have a few things to show.
Yesterday, my DD's godmother was taking her off for the day, but then her vehicle broke down, and I ended up picking her up, driving her around, etc., so there went that day of beads that I'd soooooooooooooo been looking forward to. I can't complain too loudly because her truck blew a rod or something similarly fatal, and has gone to that great truck lot in the sky. All I know is that there's a big ol' hole in the engine, where there wasn't suppose to be one.
Last weekend, I took a Stevie Belle class and had a lot of fun. I went into the class thinking I really wasn't going to learn anything new, but was going just to maybe stretch my imagination a little, be inspired and challanged. She uses a lot of surface decoration, which I have done, but I'm usually too lazy to get out all the powders and stuff. It seems like I'm messy enough, without making more mess.
My very favorite was this hollow vessel. If I can find some seed beads to match the metalic look, I'll make this into a necklace:
