OT: Back from my trip!

Hi all!

I'm back from Atlanta! The plane rides were scary as hell for me, but I managed to do it, and not fall from the sky! My airport experiences we pretty ok, I was even feeling good enough not to get wheelchair assistance. I did ride in the golf cart thingie at Atlanta though because I was NOT going to walk that far.

The trip itself was fun and relaxing. I went up to Chattanooga(sp?) and saw mountains for the first time in my life (last time I went to Atlanta I saw snow for the first time!), and now I've got great color schemes in my head...from the bright red/orange clay to the misty grays of the mountains in the distance. It was awesome, and so different compared to the flatness and beaches of Florida. The weather was beautiful and cool the entire time I was there too. And I ate WAY too much! LOL!

I didn't manage to go to the bead store there though, I was too busy doing everything else. ;-) But I saw old old buildings, learned about Atlanta's past and had a LOT of fun.

I was extremely surprised that I wasn't in more pain than I was. Especially with all the walking and stairs I had to climb. But I'm going to chalk it up to nice weather, a jacuzzi tub, and a super soft bed to sleep on.

I must tell you all though, that there is no way I can read all these posts! Ahhhh! So I have to mark read. :-( Oh, and I came home with a new computer for me! It's even got a surround sound speaker system with it. I can't wait to set it up and get started on it. Goodbye Dinosaur!!!!! Yippee! ;-) Hope all is well with everyone!

]I still think East Tennessee's ]mountains are absolutely beautiful.

i agree they are beautiful. i'm just not sure they qualify as mountains. in most places, they're foothills.

Welcome back, Valerie. I'm glad you had a relative pain free trip and that the airplane experience went fairly well for you. I was wondering about cha!

Have fun with your new box of wires!
