Do any of you who know more about computers than me(doesn't take much) know why when I run Spybot search&destroy it always finds 5 "DSO exploit" entries, even if I just ran it 2 min before and fixed the same 5 "DSOexploit" entries????? This happens on & off line. Very long confusing sentence. I would appreciate any advice. Armand

I found the following online. It sounds like very good advice:
"If all your critical updates are installed you are protected against = DSO Exploit and the finding in Spybot is just a nuisance. Eliminate this = by doing the following:=20 =20
1 Open Spybot and select 'advanced' mode.=20 2 Select 'settings' in the left column.=20 3 Select 'ignore product' in the left column.=20 4 Select 'security' tab.=20 5 Place check mark in box beside DSO Exploit.=20 6 Close program=20 7 Open Spybot and run a scan.=20 =20 You will find that DSO Exploit has been eliminated and if your computer = does not harbour any other spyware you will see a congratulatory = message."If you aren't running the most current critical updates - WHY AREN'T = YOU???
If you don't have it already, try the most current version (1.3) It seems to give you more control over ignoring things from the main search window. Val
Thank you everyone. I think I have conquered it with your help.
