No, no rotten! Just know we are here, and we can be a hit-or-miss safety net when there is real need.

I asked because I don't see every post (my newsreader is not 100% reliable), so I could've missed it (easily). :-)

I totally understand. The reason I asked, besides the above reason, is that little kids' birthdays are so important (and your tears so heart-rending) that I know we all would've been happy to step in and help out!

I'm so sorry you cried and were sad.

I was going to say that! Do you have craigslist in your area? (I know craigslist isn't everywhere....yet.) It's unsurpassed for this sort of thing!

ok, ok, rotten was a bit too strong, lol.

But I have to say...here I am, feeling all oh-so-novice to the group and to beading and whatnot in general, surrounded by the most talented women (and some guys, too) I've ever seen, and it's a rather awesome feeling to be told that said people would come to my aid if need be. I've never had that before, and it may take me some time to process it. I just hope that I, too, can be availible to help any of you if ever need be :)

Well, and now I have to take you to task again. You are not allowed to feel rotten for keeping your life to yourself. Or, in fact, for anything else you have ever said or done. It is a waste of time to feel lousy about the past. All I meant was that it would have been easy to shoot you some money for the kid's birthday. It is OK that you didn't chose to tell us that.

No beating up of yourself allowed!

That's awesome.

Hey I have a question. Just occurred to me. What sizes are your kids? Besides all my crafting, my sil and have a few people who give us kids clothes (and sometimes womens) to make sure they go families that actually need them. Some of this stuff is new with tags on. I could collect and send some of it if you need clothes. The kids can be guaranteed that they won't run into the former owners. lol They don't like to donate cause it ends up in a second hand shop and they aren't guaranteed that it goes to people who need it.

Let me know if you are interested.

I totally understand. I stayed home with my kids for 10 years. I shopped yard sales, grew my own veggies and we ate a LOT of noodles, but it was totally worth it. One Christmas I gave everyone a loaf of homemade bread for a gift. I still think they were the best years of my life.

Email me with the sizes if you would like me to send some and I can collect things. Also any little things the kids are interested in. I have another lady going thru the kids books. Just let me know what they like to read and I can collect those too.

Then when I have a box, we can talk addresses.

Hugs,
