formatting link
The beads I need help with are in the "Vintage Swaro" folder. I have spent HOURS... I repeat HOURS and HOURS looking for these beads.... eBay, Google, about 25 websites. I'm exhausted. Please, please... I need help. lol... I want to put them on auction and it won't very well do for nothing to be in the auction text, would it? :)))) THANK YOU to one and all whose knowledge and expertise exceeds mine. :))))))))))))))))

Well babygirl, they are not beads, that's why you can't find them. They are sew-ons. Not sure if they are "montees" as I am not sure of the definition of "montees" but I call all sew-ons montees.

They aren't montees - those have a metal back with 4 holes.

They are sew-ons of the style called Corona:

Argent is silver, those beads are Aurun (for gold)

Yes, those are margarita style. crystal Ab seems about right.

#1 - Art. 3400 - crystal w/ gold foil

These are still in production today (I'm not saying yours *aren't* vintage - but it's good to know when your vintage is especially rare, or when it's, um, less rare!)

#2 - Art. 3700 - crystal AB w/ silver foil

Likewise what I said above!

#3 - Art. 335 (new number 5100) - Comet Or 2X

(comet argent light is bright silver, like Barbara said. Aurum Gold is a brighter gold. Comet Or is the older version of Aurum - it was a much darker, more bronze-y finish. Yum. And yes - it's old!)

#4 - I'm not sure about this one! Yes, it's a margarita shape, but I've never seen one that's also a button. I *thought* the buttons were a newer product (within the last few years) - in 20 years of collecting vintage crystals, I've never seen a vintage button. That's not to say they don't exist, though. On the other hand - I can't find this shape in any of my Swarovski catalogs that have buttons!

But in any case - the color is Bermuda Blue, if that helps.

Hope this helps!
