OT: Here I go...

I'm moving to Wales on Tuesday and I'm about to take my PC apart to pack in the car! BF is going to Aberystwyth Uni and I'm moving in with him! Yay! Anyway, I won't have an internet connection but I will be able to receive emails at a local internet cafe so keep emailing me! Wish me luck finding a job and with everything that goes with the first time you move out of home.

I'll be back as soon as I can afford it!

Charlie.

Good luck! Aberystwyth is a lovely college town, one of my favorites in Wales. I tramped around the UK many years ago, and loved the coast of Wales the best. Take a weekend and explore around Tywyn, there are beautiful waterfalls near there and some fun narrow-gauge trains. Lucky you, making that home for a while! Luck on the job hunt, too! Keep us posted about any bead stores there.

Good luck with the move. The birth place of Merlin is a country I have long wanted to visit. My DH is half Welsh, he still has a lot of family there.

I like practically all things Welsh myself. Especially the idea that when you visit a Welsh chapel as a stranger, they reputedly ask you ... not who you are or where you come from, but what voice you sing -- and seat you accordingly.

And I also like the fact that the Welsh were composing complex poetry long before most of the cultures that compose "Western Civilization" could really be called 'civilized', for whatever that may be worth.

Then you'd probably get the best seat of all -- in the back, where you could listen to everyone else.
