OT: Hi

Hi. I feel so disconnected from all of you. Please don't forget about me entirely.

Kathy NV........... glad you are bouncing back and I'm so sorry for the awful week you had.

Barb, I'm glad the doggy surgery went well.

I have some beading to do this weekend to fill an order, then I will be free to do WHAT I WANT TO DO. I hate orders and will probably not be doing that anymore. I think working 8-5 and keeping a couple pf gallery accounts is plenty.

I am adjusted to my new lifestyle much more now. I still don't like the long hours, but am starting to form some relationships with the other people and things have slowed down enough this week so that I can catch my breath and rethink my desk space. Until now, I didn't have time to even explore my desk and the files, etc in it! Next week is a short week. Yippee!

Love you all.

Kathy H, I haven't forgotten you! I'm glad to hear you are settling in and getting to meet people and explore your new desk!

What is it about filling orders--I don't like them either, even though its lovely to make sales. Maybe its just that I'm contrary and don't like to do as told. What's the sticking part for you on special orders? Sarajane

I am thinking of you Kathy. If you had not been leading such a busy life I would have asked if you could go shopping for me. No one on here replied to my request for a swap for some items I needed. I would have asked you first but I knew you are one busy lady. Love Shirley

Kathy -- the thing I miss the most about my last job are the relationships I had formed with the people on the job. I miss them. Sometimes I was at a model where I had very little to do, and I would spend the whole day talking on the phone to the other sales reps. It was fun.

Shirley -- as Kathy said, can you repost what you need? I don't have money to shop, LOL, but I do have time and best of all, I own a ton of things. I may already have some of what you require!

I asked if anyone wanted to do a swap for the following.

  1. 8 x 11 inch of Lacy's stiff stuff.
2.ultra suede same size as above. 3 E6000 glue.

Ally would also like to do a swap for some of the E6000.

If any one can help with any of the items please email me and tell me what you would like from UK in return. Shirley

E6000 no problem - it's very easy for me to get. How many tubes do you want? And how many for Ally?

I don't know what Lacy's stiff stuff is - what type of store would I find it in?

I think I can get the ultrasuede also- any particular color?

Sarajane, I just don't like doing them! It definately is the "have to do it "thing, instead of the fun of creating. I really wish I had never taken this order. Oh well, if I just fill this one I can be done with orders, if I chose. Kathy

Shirley, I am always happy to shop for you. I think of you every day when I put on my wonderful, soft scottish scarf. I am never too busy for you, so if you still need something, just ask :) Kathy
