OT I'm a homeowner!!!

Well, almost. The seller signed the contract today. I have 8 days to get it inspected and 15 days to get the mortgage from the bank. Since i was already preapproved Saturday, the mortgage is no problem. I also have to be accepted by the condo association.

It's WAY bigger than where I am now, and the porch is closed in so it could act as a second bedroom or crafts room. I am so excited! I don't have to move ever again and the cats will never have to be tramatized any more.

It wouldn't let me on to see but congratulations. When we bought our first house I expected trumpets etc, not the casual " I'll drop your keys in the letter box." There is such excitement in being able to prune the trees back or mow the lawn-we couldn't afford a mower and borrowed a push one until we saved up.

Whooohaaa! great feeling - isn't it?

the moving part is tough --- I'm STILL moving! My kitty was pretty traumatized -- but she's finally recovered and decided she really likes her nice big new home.

She plays what I call "queen of the living room" now.... goes and plops her self in the very center and acts like the "queen of everything" LOL

The guy who sold us our house was a total sweetie and gave us the keys a week before the house closed... so we could keep going in and looking at it! He left us with major good vibes. The realtor was appalled, and kept telling us not to tell anyone, LOL!
