Ot Last updat from me for a short while

Well, the removal company arrives on Friday and all the stuff we are taking to NZ will be picked up. The computers will be going, so these are the last two days I have on line for a bit. I can read, but not post to the group at work, when I have time. Which at the moment is not very much, even my lunch 'hour' consists of gulping down a sandwhich and a cuppa and getting back to work. As you can imagine, I am working very hard to hand over to the person taking over my job.

Brook already has broad-band connected at home in Christchurch. Yes, we are officially residents of NZ, Brook has found us a house and moved in. I can hardly wait to get there!

I'll be back on line as soon as I land in NZ which will be on the 11th December.

The wedding plans are progressing nicely. Here is my gown, it's the one with sleeves:

'3843'&pageNum=1&M=&UK=31293465I'd originally chosen another gown. When I went to buy a pattern for MIL'ssuit, the new books were out and this one was in it. I fell in love with itand changed my mind. I love the neckline, perfect for showing off crystalsand pearls, The little 'opera train' is rather swish. I'm making the gown in a champagne brocade with little roses embossed all over it. I have such difficulty with my left ankle now owing to how much it's thickened since the surgery, I ended up having a pair of shoes custom made from a gorgeous light gold leather.

I made the first arrangement for my wedding cake from sugared flowers and marzipan fruits. It was intended as a practice but it turned out so pretty, I will be able to use it on the cake.

Brook has sent me photos and a tape describing the delights that await me. He's already taken one trip into the mountains; Mountains Gandalf!! His description of the alpine sights made me long to be there. Brook sounds like he has fallen in love with the country. In my heart I'm already in NZ. We will be newly weds on a grand adventure! I can hardly wait.

I'll be online until Friday morning, if anyone needs to contact me. Big hugs to all Marisa (AU, soon to be NZ)

Beautiful design on the gown, I love the train and the bodice will be very flattering--as you say, a good neckline for showing off BEADS!!

I'm very happy for you both!! Sarajane

Look forward to meeting you in NZ. Youngest son could be going to uni in CHCH or Dunedin . At the moment he has Bursary exams so we will wait on the results. Best of luck for your wedding and the shift. Cheers, Jan

Marisa,

Have a smooth move and a joyful wedding. My marriage 2 1/2 years ago was such a wonderful beginning for a wonderful married life. I wish you the very best.

I will be back a little before you will, Dec 4, so I should be through most of the backlog by then!

Congratulation, and Bon Voyage.

Tina
