Ready for March next year! Right now the list of Fings Wot Need Doin' looked like this at 4:00 this afternoon:

To complete: Peter's blue coat with gold braid: Cut and make up quilted lining: insert same. Make 8 buttonholes and sew on 16 buttons... Peter's red waistcoat: Slipstitch lining closed inside. Make 8 buttonholes. sew on 16 buttons!

1 Baldric in gold braid mounted on vinyl! Vickie's 'chemisette': Needs patterning and cutting and sewing... (Most of this should be completed by tomorrow: next week at the latest)

For July:

1 blue flowered Victorian gown 1 Regency bonnet

For 1st June

1 1950's style wedding dress in red silk... 1 Alice Lon petticoat to go under it.

For 1st October:

1 long strapless 1950's style wedding gown in red dupion 3 1950's ish strapless bridesmaids in chocolate dupion 2 Alice petticoats to go under two of them 1 mother of the bride: trousers, flowing jacket, shell top: silk jersey

1 cotton frock for me for the wedding! 1950's style again... Sort sleeves on Himself's jacket and remake trousers for wedding...

For Next March:

2 18th C shifts 1 pair of stays (I've started the pattern, and have a stays and shifts making weekend booked with a fellow mad frockist. We are going to the same event, and she has stuff to do for her partner as well. I'll probably get roped in to help with his very fancy silk coat!)) 1 under petticoat 1 quilted petticoat 1 Caraco jacket 1 polonaise gown 1 sack back gown 1 cloak 2 fischous 1 hat

And then another bride rang up wanting a wedding dress (ivory for a change!) and 2 bridesmaids for August! I'm seeing her tomorrow to see if it's possible. I need to let her know ASAP so she has a chance (a very SLIM one, admittedly!) of finding someone else if I can't!

Umm... More by accident than design! But thank you. I thought I needed something to follow, so just drew round the edges with the sewing machine, and then used the quilting guide to follow the curvy lines. It was more fun than ordinary straight lines.

I didn't think the back needed the crossed lines, so I just followed the contours of the side seams. The chevron up the back of the shoulders was an 'Eek! What do I do now?' moment! :D

Thank you. Fun project to do, bonkers but delightful customers! The best sort! Mad as a box of frogs but pay on the nail, AND they brung me flowers, AND she gave me a lovely pine framed cheval glass as a thank you prezzy!

We won a 'susstifficate' last summer with her previous gown. I'll ost the pix of them together when I've completed the last ends of both him and her. (Her gown is done, but she wants a chemisette to fill in the neck, and some sleeve flounces. Her wish is my command.)
