OT Message from Roxan to the group.

This is a message I was asked to post and so I found it easier to just post her whole message:

Hi Harry, Could you please post something for me to the newsgroup. For some reason giganews has dropped this bead group from the newsgroups with Comcast and I can't seem to get an answer from them why. I was wondering if anyone else that uses Comcast has the same problem. I can read the group through goggle but it is a problem to post there. Would you send a post asking if anyone else has this problem and what can be done to correct it. Roxan

I use giganews through comcast and I'm still here - but then I have been getting messages saying new newsgroups have been added and I have NOT clicked the ok button to refresh the list. Now I'm not going to!

My ISP is Comcast, and I have no problem with it. Oh, wait - that's because I have switched servers to Vicki's. I had serious problems with the giganews server when my ISP switched to Comcast, so Vicki offered to switch me.

the offer is still open. i keep saying it - the news server service is free to members here and in rec.arts.mystery.

it's one thing david does know how to do very well.

I hate Giganews. I can't even believe they offer a pay service... I wonder if it's as problematic? Moxley keeps talking about starting a news server, but he's so busy... well, it might happen. Eventually.
