Hi, I am involved with the message in the bottle swap and I have all 3 of my bottles ready to go took them to the post office this morning and they refused to send them as is, telling me they need to be in a box........is this ok? I thought we were able to mail them as is :( Anyone else having this problem??? Let me know please TIA Tracy in Michigan

Wow I'm sorry to hear this. I agree with Mindi. Just put them in boxes or the brown paper etc. I know that Lori sent her bottle out and didn't have a problem with it. Again I'm sorry this happened...

Your PO failed the "test the post office" test. Take them a copy of the postal regulation that sez that anything can be mailed if it can hold a label, and doesn't have hazardous, or liquid contents! LOL

Hi.. I just came back from the PO and asked the guys there about the bottles. They suggested going to another PO as well, told me that message bottles go thru there all the time and they would mail mine out!! Same with Mail Media on the Scrapbooks... and this is the PO at Bradley International Airport!! Love that PO!! Hugs, Neets, Memere Neets, Anita Connecticut, USA
