a couple of people here are "into" quilts. i put some pictures of my aunt's online at:

didn't have time yet to do anything with the pictures - i took themfor the web site i'm going to be building, so they are large and taketime to load. much of her quilting is applique - she's really awonder!

Those are lovely! I always admire those who can do such wonderful applique. Tell your aunt I think she did a wonderful job on all of them!

She is indeed a wonder. I have to admit, I am not a big quilting fan. I saw all those links and thought, ok I'll look at a couple. I was immediately sucked in. Then as I looked at each one I thought - she can't possibly top this one....and the next one did. Incredibly beautiful work, thanks so much for the link.

thank you for taking the time - i'll be sure to tell her. i don't know how the woman does it, honestly. except that she never goes anywhere for very long without the blocks she is working on. when she and my uncle visited my mother, she must have quilted all the way across the country while he was driving. she's just phenomenal.
