Well, now. I don't feel so bad about them denying DH. They honestly think he can work. HAW!!! 42 years old, 6th grade education, limited work experience (dishwasher & the like) ( I made more in one year that he has in his entire life) (and you wonder why I want to work?), limited mobility (cold weather sucks, he can barely get out of bed, joints lock up, back kills him. Lizard king), temporal lobe seizure disorder (this is the part that makes my life interesting), probable adult ADD (gonna work with his neurologist on that diagnosis) and some pretty extreme anger/control issues (COD?) And SSI thinks this man can get (and KEEP) a job? You have got to be kidding! I think they ought to live with him for at least a few days. Think they just might change their mind. Any suggestions? I could use all I can get.

Up note - Ron (5 year old problem child) was actually diagnosed with ADHD with potential learning disability. His pediatrican actually prescribed him something! 10mg of Aderol (sp) and it actually seems to be helping. Instead of having to yell at him every 5 seconds it's only about every 5 minutes. Much better. Teachers are even seeing an improvement and he just started it on friday. YAY!!!!!!

Happy beading and all that!

I will come and hold him while you choke the life out of him with a string of beads. LOL I doubt if either of us would have the strength. Shirley

That's why the rest of us would help. Unfortunately, the twit is only one part of a many headed monster and they all are interconnected. Swat one, and the rest just write up the incident , file it, and lose it--then require you to provide forms too. Sarajane

Now, If I can just get DH to take his! It's been a real fun night. Got some of them in him so he's a little better but there was a bit in the parking lot by the grocery store where someone just about called the police because DH absolutely REFUSED to get in the car and come home (he's skipped too many of his doses, in a seizure and walked about 2 miles away from home. And it's COLD here) And when we got home, he HAD to see his mom and wouldn't get in the car so I ended up following him the mile down where his mom was. Didn't want anything to do with the mean person that wouldn't just let him walk around alone while he was in a seizure (me) She gave us a ride home so it wasn't that bad. And I know if I was cold, he's got to be hurting.

Thanks. That made me laugh. Has anyone noticed I believe in undestating quite a lot? Love people that ask me how I'm doing. I almost always answer "Could be better, could be worse" Better = having everything needed/wanted, enough time and things running smoothly. Worse = Naked, homeless and hungry. It's all a matter of perspective.
