No resolution sucks, but at least it's not a negative result. If it's at all possible, look at it as a time to get your ducks in an even tighter row.
On a similar note, I just got a call from my attorney. Social Security says that (1) they've lost my file, and I need to restart everything for the past year and a half and (2) I'm really not disabled, so I should just go back to work. I get private disability insurance which has much stricter criteria than Social Security, so this makes less than no sense at all.
Looks like we're going to court. The attorney says that with all my documented problems, this should be a slam dunk. Amazingly, the fact that I've never been to an alternative medical practitioner is a big point in my favor. I was considering going for accupuncture to releive the arm pain, but have been advised against it. This attorney tells me that the judges in these kinds of cases take a very dim view of people who get their care outside the traditional Western medical establishment. How strange - I'd think they'd be more inclined to understand the desperation of people whom traditional medicine cannot help.
I'll keep sending good vibes. They can't hurt, and might even help.

Does this ever end? Ever? Unbelieveable. I am so glad you are such a fighter, Kathy. Other people would just buckle under. They are taking on the wrong woman!!!!!

My father-in-law put in for SS disability. Got a letter saying he was able to work. Came on the day of his funeral. Keep fighting the bastards.

Yeah, they are. I never give up, once I've decided that I'm on the right course. That's probably why I'm still alive.
The Social Security guy was a total ass. When he told me to go back to work, I laughed at him. I said, "I'd love to work. As you can see on my income statements, I'd been working without interruption since I was eleven. Do you know of any jobs where you don't need a left arm, don't have to breathe all the time, faint multiple times a day and experience constant cardiac problems?"
He said, "It's not our responsibility to find work for you, Ms. N-V."
What a fool. I want to work. I would love to work. I dragged my ass into work for years after my docs advised me to stop, and only stopped because I was in intensive care. Having some chomoke tell me that I'm being lazy just ticks me off. Wait until I get to see him in person. >;-)
