Potato Chip earrings---it's a sickness

Ok, not really potato chips, so get your mind out of the kitchen. When my sister was down, she'd made some of these simple earrings. I liked them so much, I had to try a pair. Well, one pair turned into, "But let me see how they'd look with these beads.................But let me see how they'd look with THESE beads...............but let me see...................." until I'd gone through all my 6mm round beads and I started saying, "Oh, I wish I had more colors..........................I wish I had _____ color..............."

Maybe I just need to get my ears pierced a few more times.

Oh, and can you guess which pair is the magnetic hematite? It's a sickness.

ohmigod! They're so cool! Are there any instructions out there on how to make them, or are they your sisters design? I've got a friends daughters birthday tomorrow that I haven't got a present for and they'd be perfect for her!

I think you may have scored a new market with the magnetic hematite earrings, Jerri. Think of all the folks who wear magnet bracelets and whatnot because of the healing effect on the joints. Magnets in each ear would Super Brain Boosting Power!

hehehehehehe I love all of them--nice and simple--could dress up or down, with no problem. Awesome.

LOL #6!

Just put on those hematite earrings and you'll appreciate the sickness more! Those are great, Jerri.

Charlie,

I made a little drawing to show a friend how to make them. If you want me to send it to you, e-me off list. It seems like whenever I e-someone here, I hit spam blockers and never know if the person heard from me or not.

I'm sure they're not an original design. My sister saw something similar, and went home and figured out how to make herself some. They're really easy.

Thanks, Margie. I just about have enough to go with every outfit. I don't seem to have a lot of warm colors though. I guess you can tell my taste.

Yes. I think it's a lot cheaper to make your own, in sterling anyway.

Lol. Just one in each. That's probably enough for me.

I can see how you made them, but do you have to do something special to the ends?

Thanks!

Another different strokes for different folks scene. See, I don't dig those at all. I like earrings that wiggle in several places.

That was our first project in Wire I at William Holland a couple of years ago ...

Neat. They're so easy, they ought to be in Wire I. In my 1st Wire I, we did the kind where you dangle a bigger and a smaller bead. Another very simple earring. (But I'm probably not describing it well.)

That's really reasonable. I'll have to look again. I think my problem is that I start off looking at the cheaper ones and then end up wanting the ones with the coil and the ball on them.

Lol. Even in earrings, there's those who just can't get along.
