Hi Marissa,
You'll have that one little wire sticking up, at the end. You just make your loop out of that one and that's where it goes on the ear wire.
Very nice! Do you use a jig for your earwires? They look so consistent, something I always struggle with. I can do alright making a pair that matches, but not 18! LOL I made a jig, but it doesn't work all that well. I think I hafta use soft wire with it *SHRUG*
Ok, not really potato chips, so get your mind out of the kitchen. When my
See, I prefer the plain smaller ones. I can put lots of dangles on then without them becoming massive and long!
Charlie.
I meant, what do you do on the end of the hand-made ear wires? (The end that goes into the ear)
Thanks!

Marisa, I just file mine. I spent months looking for a cupburr for my Dremel, which is advised by several wire-working books I have, but my friend assured me that they aren't worth the hassle, and said they don't really work well, anyway.
I can see how you made them, but do you have to do something special to

I just cut and file them.
Those are wonderful!! Ahem. Purple. Silver. Purple. Silver. LOL
I like plain ones, but of a heavier than usual gauge.

Hi Kyla,
I think if you sit there and made them over and over, they get pretty consistant. I used my round nose pliers to make the earwires. You can can always mark your pliers, to make sure you bend them at the same place, althought the marker always rubs off, and I never bother anymore.
You don't use a jig? Wow! I thought "those are either bought earwires, or she uses a jig"...
Thanks Helen!
