thank you for all the feedback, as I said it is a work in process. obviously needs more processing & polishing
I agree with all who have said to lose the opaque green beads. It's a feminine design, but the colors aren't delicate and feminine enough. I really think it's a pretty piece, but in sparklier, transparent beads it would look much, much better.
I also had the "ouch" reaction to the thought of wearing it in my hair..I have very long, very thick, very difficult to manage hair. it tangles at the mere thought of anything other than a scrunchie or simple barrette. I'd be more likely to wear that piece as a pin, or a wrist corsage. if you made the design smaller and then attached it to..say..a longer hairstick rather than that cone, I'd use it in a bun or a french twist.
