More Sewing Rooms (URL)

Okay, it's me again going on about sewing rooms again. I found this great page with links to Real Sewing Rooms.

Here is the link:

sure if the link will work - the "%20" is either a _space_ or an_underscore_) It's maintained by Carol, an accomplished sewist.

I am in love with "Sue's Sewing Studio" - I *want* that room!! What I like about it is all that ROOM to spread the fabric out. I need to use my bed right now to do that :) What is silly is that we actually have the room on our property --our carriage house is over 600sq ft but there is over 10 years' worth of stored junk in there. Just can't bring myself to deal with the junk, I can't even get in the doorway!

happy dreaming, Rose

Did you see my sewing room listed there? Stared a mess, got tidy!

You have to GLARE VERY HARD and the mess all runs away and hides! ;)

I'm thinking I'll have to really polish my glaring skills, so far no joy! ;-]

Very neat, thanks for posting this! I love seeing how other people set up their workspaces!

I really like this gadget... I'm going to have to track one down. Looks so handy!

As for dealing with the junk, I have a suggestion: rent a dumpster! In a few months I'm moving with my family to Alaska from Massachusetts, and we really need to get serious about lightening the load. I rented a dumpster a couple days ago, and it's sooooo wonderful! Mismatched tupperware lids? Tossed! Old school papers? Gone! Chairs with broken rungs, buh-bye! I've gone through three rooms today (only 11 to go, plus the outside areas) and can't wait to tackle a few more rooms tomorrow. I highly recommend it!

Hey, thanks! I found it... maybe ordering a couple of these will help keep my 2 year old from stealing and unwinding bobbins when I'm not looking. He thinks it's fun to roll them down the stairs. =)
