I work for a large grocery chain in New Hampshire and I have to agree with both of you! You know when it's going to snow even before watching the weather when you go in a grocery store. Its' insane! We watch and laugh because where we are always seems to lose power and their food must rot. We've been through quite a few storms where we put the groceries under the eaves in the snow and use the gas stove in the kitchen or light the barbeque (which NEVER gets put away for the season!). With the gas stove we always have heat as well. Not cheap heat but when it's 30 below you'll take anything....
