My understanding is that politicians tend to ignore electronic petitions. It is to easy to forge an identity and to hard to verify them. Im cynical. When someone wants me to sign one of these things I always suspect them of harvesting email addys. Diana

It's a very labor-intensive way of harvesting an email addy, IMO.
